I’m a wife, mom, daughter, sister, veteran, and a creative at heart. I’ve always been drawn to beautiful details and the way thoughtful design can transform a space and create a feeling. Over the years, I’ve come to embrace that creativity as a God-given gift and purpose—one that allows me to do what I love while creating meaningful experiences for others.

My military career gave me a strong foundation in structure, discipline, service, and attention to detail—qualities that are now an essential part of how I approach every client and design. From our first conversation to the final installation, I value clear communication, thoughtful planning, and ensuring you feel confident that your special occasion is in capable and caring hands.

Creations by Honeybee began with balloons, but it has grown into so much more.

Today, I specialize in custom focal and event design, bringing together balloon artistry, backdrops, custom signage, personalized details, and curated décor to transform your vision into an experience that is beautiful, intentional, and uniquely yours.

Why “Honeybee”?

The name Melissa comes from the Greek word mélissa, meaning “bee,” with its roots connected to meli, meaning “honey.” So, Honeybee isn’t simply a business name—it’s personal to me and represents the heart and creativity behind my brand.
